RMCE specializes in the design of lattice towers, guyed masts, monopoles and related infrastructure for the telecommunications industry, including cellular telephone networks. The design of wind sensitive towers and the investigation and evaluation of existing steel structures and concrete buildings for telecommunications installations is undertaken throughout Africa and further a-field. RMCE has been commissioned by several international organizations, such as Siemens, Alcatel, Vodacom, Cell C, Helios, TUV Rheinland as well as and other engineering consultants and turn-key contractors to undertake designs, reviews and audits on towers and guyed masts and their foundations as well as to undertake on-site inspections and verification of constructed communications infrastructure.

RMCE has been instrumental in the development of unique camoflauged telecommunication structures including facilities to resemble windmills, lighthouses, trees, palm trees and advertising posts. These structures are deployed throughout South Africa and have been used as far as Australia, Maurituis, Reunion, Seychelles, UAE, Oman and Greece.
