RMCE has been involved in the design of some iconic commercial developments particularly in the Sandton CBD Precinct which include Nelson Mandela Square, Michelangelo Hotel, Michelangelo Towers, the Da Vinci hotel and the 48 storey Leonardo Tower. These structures have deep basements and are mulit-storey reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures. RMCE has also been involved in the Birchwood Hotel (>900 rooms) and Conference Centre (>50 Venues), which is the largest facility of its type in Gauteng and still expanding.

Other commercial and retail projects include construction of a multi-million rand Alex Junction retail complex and taxi terminal building for the Alexandra Renewal Project, the Bonero Park shopping mall, Midway Mews shopping centre, Mbabane Shopping centre in Swaziland and the Volkswagen Piazza, Pretoria.
